What will become of all that we’ve done?
Who will come through when we don’t have a clue?
A world moving too fast will be seen as the past.
For safety and life, cut ties as if with a knife.
Isolation it may be for our world to finally see,
How important and vital it is to be able to hug and kiss.
Forced to be alone in this unchartered zone,
Shown how technology is really supposed to be.
Used to teach and learn, not yell and hurt and burn.
Meant to share joy and love, not hate and narrow-minded shoves.
In addition to life’s moments, not for what this life was meant.
We’re on a crumbling edge; walking a narrow, uneven ledge
The imperfect human race, trying to save more than face.
